Dead THINGS are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants - TopicsExpress

Dead THINGS are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof. For in death THERE IS no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. What profit IS THERE in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. For great IS thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. Wilt thou show wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise AND praise thee? Selah. Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? OR thy faithfulness in destruction? Shall thy wonders be known in the dark and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. The way of life IS above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath. The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead. Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they anymore a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they anymore a portion forever in any THING that is done under the sun. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure; and their glory; and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
