Dead on brilliant. As someone who believes in capital but doesnt worship the dollar (I believe in quantum mechanics, too, but dont worship physics, so lets cut that argument at the ankles, shall we?), this is a solid piece. The safest road for the rich is to see to it that regardless of how much more they make, the majority is still wealthy enough to get by. is there some dark in this essay? oh yeah. Clearly. BUT I point to this saying even those of us who are for capitalism see this oligarchic corporatism is going to result in revolution. I may, however, be a little more revolutionary than this person.
