Deadline For applications is June 18,2014 The Buena Vista Rescue Squad is seeking a responsible, dependable applicant for a full time position with the title of EMS provider. The Provider will be required to calls for service, along with working with the EMS Supervisor, to ensure that calls for service are answered during operational hours. Interested candidates must have the following minimum qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, current Virginia EMT-B or higher certification, CPR certification, EVOC class 2,and a valid Virginia drivers license with a good driving record. Candidates must possess good communication skills, and be able to deal with patients and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner. Must be able to work calmly in high stress situations and maintain an effective working relationship with members of other EMS and fire agencies. Minimum of 3 years EMS experience is required.
