Through an innovative curriculum – designed specifically for troops with catastrophic wounds – each of those heroes went on to earn college degrees. In fact, the Wyakin program has a zero percent dropout rate. That’s because each troop has five mentors providing life coaching and academic mentoring. More than one graduate has said the program saved their life. But right now, the program can’t accept new students – not until more funding is available to expand it. That’s where you come in. We can and must expand this and other programs the USO supports, and we’ve set a goal of raising $15,000 by midnight Saturday to do it.
