We will now accept applications until April 15, 2014. Please share this news with your network. It is still not too late to apply! The Mindanao Peacebuilding Institute (MPI) brings together a wide range of people with experience, knowledge and skills in peace-related work from across the Asia-Pacific Region and other parts of the world. It offers intensive courses in areas such as conflict transformation, peace education, religious peacebuilding, transformative justice, and trauma healing that are taught by a distinguished roster of facilitators from Asia-Pacific and other countries. In line with this, we are pleased to inform you that MPI will be conducting its 15th Annual Peacebuilding Training from May 12 to 30, 2014. Registration will begin on May 11, 2014 in Davao City, Philippines. For MPI 2014, we are offering three new courses – From Understanding to Action: Theories and Tools for Designing Effective Peace and Development Interventions in Fragile and Unpredictable Situations; Conflict Sensitive Economic Governance: Peace-Enabling Approaches in Complex and Fragile Contexts; and Resource-Based Conflict: Indigenous People’s Perspectives and Approaches (Field-Based Course). The deadline for the receipt of regular applications is now April 15, 2014. Interested applicants can apply directly ONLINE just by clicking the link APPLY ONLINE.
