Deadline to submit Public Service Application is Thursday, Sept. 12 for Mesquite Rec Center Fee Review Committee We need your input. City of Mesquite is accepting Public Service Appointment Applications to fill vacancies for the newly created short-term Mesquite Recreation Center “Fee” Review Committee. The Mesquite City Council will appoint up to five persons to serve on this Committee that will be tasked with the following: ● Study the fee structure at the Recreation Center ● Study how to fund a Capital Improvement and Repairs Budget QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MAY BE SELECTED BASED ON THE BELOW EXPERIENCE: Up to Four (4) appointments will be made based on the following experience: ● Experience in cost accounting, price marketing, business analysis ● Experience in operating a fitness center or recreation center One (1) appointment will be made based on the below criteria: ● The applicant is a current member, and frequent user, of the Mesquite Recreation Center. The first meeting to organize the Committee will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 12 noon in the Training Room, 2nd Floor Mesquite City Hall. Public Service Appointment Applications will only be accepted from Mesquite residents only. Persons who wish to submit an application may visit the City’s website at mesquitenv.gov/city-government/forms-documents/committees or you may visit the City Clerk’s Office at 10 East Mesquite Boulevard, Mesquite. Deadline to submit a completed Public Service Appointment Application is September 12, 2013 at Noon. Residency will be verified at the time of application. All applications must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office in order to be considered for appointment to the Recreation Center Fee Review Committee.
