Dean Cummings H2O Guides strives to be good stewards of the lands - TopicsExpress

Dean Cummings H2O Guides strives to be good stewards of the lands where we access the goods so that people can always enjoy wild places and exploration. We operate under a special use permit in the Chugach National Forest and work with the Forest Service and other land agencies to identify and avoid critical wildlife habitat. We also contribute a portion of every trip to TerraPass to offset carbon emissions and use biodegradable flagging. And we strictly adhere to Leave No Trace so that the only trace we leave are ski and snowboard tracks - until the next snowstorm buries them. H2O Guides urges you to get involved and have a positive impact. Ways to get involved: • Visit peoplesclimate.org/global/ to find your local Peoples Climate Marches and get involved • Support Leave No Trace in your area: https://lnt.org/get-involved • Learn more about TerraPass: terrapass/ • Visit the ELCA Advocacy Action Center to find people of faith who work with government officials to create environmentally friendly public policies and sign the Interfaith Climate Petition: elca.org/advocacy
