Dear ANYONE whos calling home from school or camp or any after-school activity, Pleeeease for the love of God, the first words out of your mouth should ALWAYS be “everything is okay.” NOT this is Miss Nursy Nurse or this is her counselor Chippy McChipper. We know who the F you are because we all have caller ID and we pretty much shit a brick when we see the school name pop up on our phones. So please say “Everything is okay, this is Miss Nursy Nurse” because even though it’s only like one second before you tell me why you’re calling, that one second is long enough for my heart to leap into my throat and my intestines to tighten and start the nervous poops for the rest of the day. Thank you, The mom on the other end of the phone who just had a heart attack
