Dear Ace Hardware, Id like to thank you in advance for severing ties with Lush Limbaugh and his radio program. I know you meant well, trying to get your franchise owners some more people in the door and all but this was a failed experiment. Im sure youll do better next time. I know you forgot that your stores are individually owned and operated and those owners span the entire political spectrum. Its ok, you were just trying to get people in the door. I know you forgot that the people who Rush Limbaugh supports are the same people who have allowed wal-mart to put untold numbers of franchise holders out of business. Its ok, you were just trying to get people in the door. I know you forgot that regulation is a good thing when youre not the 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd largest hardware chain in the country and fair-play in the market is essential. Its ok, you were just trying to get people in the door. It really was a heart-felt apology that your public-relations department wrote denouncing the hate-filled, divisive, and polarizing radio program. I really enjoyed the part about bringing the level of political discourse in this country back to a sane place where we stop calling each other names and start solving our problems. I forgive you. You were just trying to get people in the door.
