Dear Aligs, I feel very sad to inform that Janab Syed Hamid, Ex. Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University and Chancellor of Hamdard University has passed away. This is a really mournful happening and indeed a great loss for all of us who have had the privilege of knowing and learning from him. He was a great and live hearted personality. May Allah give his family Courage and Patience.We pray for his maghfirah. We have been told that his Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered after Zuhr Namaz at Hamdard University and Tadfeen at Punch peeraan Qabristan Lodi road Delhi at 3 PM, Tomorrow. #copied #X2
