Dear All, At the moment, Trinity has at least 5 students looking to transfer due to the security situation on campus. One professor wrote this: I too have had two students come to me to transfer. Neither listed the campus climate or intellectual climate as the reason. Both referenced the security situation. One poor young women had been assaulted twice, once near campus, once at the main train station downtown. From that second situation she had one fine black eye. Her father was ordering her to leave--I could find no reason to disagree. The other student was also for security reasons. After all that has happened, Trinity continues to receive a failing grade for security. Absolutely remarkable how those in charge of Trinitys administration are allowed to keep their jobs.
