Dear All, For the first time IIT Kanpur is going to reach out to a very large number of students to teach them basics of programming. A Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Introduction to Programming in C is now open for registration. This course is being offered under the NPTEL initiative. The course is free for any student who has an understanding of 12th level mathematics. No prior programming experience is required. After the course interested students can take a certification exam by paying a nominal fee and those who pass will get a certificate from the IITK QIP program.
