We saw alot of kids at the weight-in and participating in the event which was great to see. Congratulations to a new winner on the SSFC fishing tournament schedule - Blue Lady. Hopefully, everyone on board will be a fisherman/fisherwoman for life after that experience. SSFC is very proud to say that Mimi 2 was the first winner of the perpetual trophy for their sailfish tag and release. We also saw some of the largest yellow fin tuna in recent memory come in to the weigh station as well which was surprising and they were all caught on the Mahe plateau. On behalf of the SSFC Executive Committee, SSFC wishes to thank all the teams that participated and all those who came out to Marine Charter for the weigh-in event. We have about 5 weeks and then we are back in the water. Dont forget, Saturday, August 9, 2014 is the Southeast Monsoon Sailfish Tournament and we will have to deal with the Southeast Monsoon!
