Dear All, Many of you were surprised to learn that the voter turn out at the November 05, 2014 ballot was only (~) 30%. Some of you were outright “mad” that our citizens could be so apathetic about something so important to our nation’s democracy and the direction of its political future. Here is something else that should rile your concern and anger regarding the total ignorance of today’s youth. These poorly educated/uninformed kids, who are actually in college, can’t even answer the most basic questions about our nations history or even current events of importance. It is time to take away their Apples and Televisions and instead sit them down and make them read books on American History, Biography’s of important persons in history; and when they are in high school they should at least know who the heck our vice president is!! It is time to teach them how the word “library” is spelled and then take them to it; at least once a week; same as you might take your child to a local park to swing and play!
