Dear All, Oli Bansha Akshya Kosh, Kathmandu has started its facebook presence to communicate our matter of concerns to all the persons related with Oli and society as a whole. This facebook page of Oli Bansha Akshya Kosh allows all of you for e-discussion, recommendations for value added programs, different programs to be run by the Kosh and mode of fund collections in upcoming periods etc. We always appreciate all kind of comments and recommendations from your end. We would like to introduce our Oli Bansha Akshya Kosh in brief and stands as below: Oli Bansha Akshya Kosh, Kathmandu, established in 2067 B.S. as a charitable institution formed for socio-economic upliftment of Oli community in particular and all other communities, society and nation, as a whole. Established in Chairmanship of Basu Dev Oli (Ex. IGP of APF). It has taken a big height and has already accomplished two of its general assembly since its establishment. So far, there are more than 150 general members and more than 20 life members to the date. It has been conducting several social and cultural functions every year such as felicitation of the Oldest Father and Mother from among Oli community in Nepal, felicitation of newly married couple, felicitation of top students (both male and female) from Oli community in S.L.C. examination and B.A. (in humanities) from among all T.U. students in Nepal, conduction of cultural and religious programs like Gothdhup and Dar Karyakram during our cultural Teej festival, publication of yearly calendar, etc. We are planning to purchase our own land in Kathmandu and build a community house so that we can use the same for several purposes for our benefit (such as social, cultural, and religious programs etc.). Further, we have planned operation of Ambulance available to all persons at affordable rate after completion of our own building project. For that purpose we are approaching business houses to depart their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in collaboration with us. In addition to that, we have undergoing plan to conduct social activities such as free health campaign, blood donation program, etc. as a part of our own social responsibility. The only thing is we have no adequate fund to do such activities, though we wish to do. Please float on your idea for any new and innovative programs and activities that Oli Bansha Akshya Kosh, Kathmandu can/should do to promote Oli community in Nepal and all over the world. I request you all to recommend other Oli in Nepal and abroad who have not been a friend in facebook page of Oli Bansha Akshya Kosh so far. Also our special request would be to be a member of this organization (encouraged for Life Membership).
