Dear All South African Artists Musicians and Dancers Eff manifesto on arts and culure It is with great pleasure to announce that the EFF in its manifesto has included Piracy as one of the nations concerns and strict laws will be imposed to all perpetrators. I therefore would like to encourage the entire artists who have already lost hope in their artistic dreams that these dreams should be revived as it will be the very first time in South African politics that musicians will take a stand in parliament. We will not allow the arts and culture to be as dysfunctional as it is now. no musician should starve, suffer and die as a pauper in the government of the EFF. All licensed musicians should reap the fruits of their royalties and should regain the dignity they deserve. 75 % of air play should be South African and fairness monitored, it will not only be the friends of those who are connected to the radio and TV station managers and the music compilers who will be given first priority. The entire licensed artist should receive financial support during the time they are struggling to find their tune. Recording studios will be build nationally, theatres shall be build nationally artists shall be treated with dignity. Printing plants shall be organised for all licensed artists nationally. Musicians have suffered for a very long-time while our government turned a blind eye on them, musicians have volunteered their much precious time assisting politicians in organising their rallies and quickly forgotten when politicians have scored their important goals. Each and every province shall have department of arts and culture separate from sports, artists have been compromised for a very long time and unfortunately the birth of EFF has brought new life to the dreams of all artists nationwide. Skills development will not be ignored or compromised to all artists , arts and culure hall create over 20000 job positions I therefore would like to urge all artists to think very carefully as we get closer to the 2014 elections and would like to remind them to strongly protect their dreams as they get to the ballot box Amandla to all the arts Your Commander in Arts and culture Convenor Rustenburg
