Dear All, The Road Rangers in conjunction with Air-Tec Africa, want to make a Easter Contribution towards Compass Community Provision & Social Services Orphanage in Edenvale on Easter morning, the 18th April 2014. This orphanage takes care of 102 Children varying from babies to high school pupils. They receive very little support from the state and make do from donations from their immediate community. As with any other charity, they are in dire straits to keep things going financially. We do not ask any financial donations but ask simple small things they can use daily to make their lives, and especially this Easter a little more exciting and special. These things needed as follows: - Easter Eggs (Any kind, shape and size) - Nappies - Wet-Wipes - Formula Milk - Toys - Used Children’s Clothing - Shoes - Stationary - Food Whatever we can bring along that we think an orphanage would use, will be accepted. I was thinking we can get an ER24 Ambulance. Response car, Fire Engine to come educate some of the kids on Emergency Services etc. Kids love motorbikes, and bikes carrying gifts always spurs and interest with kids and brings a smile on their face. We need 1 to 1,5 hours out of your morning to give your heart to these kids. The various bike clubs or groups can ride from their own meeting point to the orphanage in Edenvale so we all meet there at the same time. Air-Tec Africa is donating R8000.00 in cash as well as Easter Eggs and other essentials. The grocery bill for this orphanage is R50 000.00 a month to give you an idea.
