Dear All, This email comes to you as a result of the resolutions taken at our 2013 Synod in Cradock. Our district Communications Desk decided to create this email, educationmethchurc@gmail, for us all to use. It is meant to help us in telling stories about our involvement as circuits, societies and individuals in the education pillar of the MCSA within the Grahamstown District, and the broader Eastern Cape. It is hoped that through this sharing of information about what we are involved in we will be able to learn from each other and grow where we are planted. So to you all fellow sisters and brothers in mission, let us begin tell about what God is doing where we are in matters of schooling and learning. Remember, we resolved as the Methodist people in the Grahamstown district to: 1. See to it that each church/congregation is in partnership with a school within its surroundings. We agreed that it will be a partnership and not an adoption and will involve all stakeholders within the community we operate. 2. Give an hour a month of our lives in order that we contribute in the transformation of our respective communities. This we agreed to do it as God leads us.
