Dear Artists, The 4th edition of Silicon Andhra International Kuchipudi Dance Convention is slated for December 26th to 28th, 2014 at the Gachibowli stadium, Hyderabad. Silicon Andhra 2014 would definitely facilitate yet another time, the coming together of all artists, research scholars, art lovers, art custodians and the whole gamut of art induced hearts. The first three editions saw overwhelming response from the Kuchipudi artists, art lovers, cynosures and general public too. This edition is designed to honour the efforts of Kuchipudi Bhagavathamelam in propagating the art form for centuries now. The various programs designed for the three day convention includes technical & research oriented sessions by renowned artists and scholars of repute, apart from performances from artists spread across the globe. Kuchipudi Bhagavathamelam is also showcasing couple of their specialities during the Convention. Art world is such that any effort to promote or propagate receives both accolades and brickbats, since all issues and concerns cannot be fulfilled with each such effort but it generally leaves its footprints for furthering the cause of the art form in its own way. In this regard one can take a super market approach, consume what is desirable and leave what is not appealing, but the fact that it is a good opportunity to showcase the art form through yet another edition would definitely augment the efforts taken otherwise by all the stakeholders of the art form on continual basis.
