Dear BBC family, I would like to take this opportunity to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas! I would also like to ask for your prayers concerning the possibility of the church acquiring the old Boys & Girls Club for a ministry point to share Christ with the Eagleton Community. Here is where stand as of Dec. 20, 2013 1. The county commission voted last night to declare the building surplus, which will enable it to be sold by a sealed bid auction. 2. After our BBC meeting last week, there are some concerns which must be addressed. 3. We need to discover the will of the church, therefore on January 5th there will be a survey in the bulletin seeking to ascertain the level of commitment that the members of BBC have toward this possible ministry. 4. We need much prayer! Will you spend the next few weeks seeking God about this issue. Ask God where He would have us invest in His work. We must have a commitment of resources; time, talents and finances. As your pastor, I seek only to follow God and His plan. I do not have the answers to all the questions, but I know the One Who does! Again, Merry Christmas from the Collins house to your house! Pastor Tony
