Dear BBC it may be the last time I get to complain about you as a public broadcaster. Filled under misrepresentation of the truth! Any one else feeling the need? The reporter claimed Alex Salmond had not addressed the question asked by the correspondent. He had in fact given a clear answer to the question which was why should they believe you a politician when they have the opinion of men responsible for billions of pounds of profits. Salmond actually went on to answer the question with a description on the workings of corporation tax indicating that he may have some knowledge on the subject. The full answer provided can be found here for reference, https://youtube/watch?v=rHmLb-RIbrM I feel his answer was in response to the question and to report that he did not answer in any other way than criticising the reporting missed the most salient points of his response. One of them being calling for the BBC to be investigated for their breaches of codes of conduct pertaining to releasing market information before the market, the reporter failed to mention this also. I found this to be a gross misrepresentation of the truth of what was actually said and feel it has severely misled the public.
