Dear Believer, do you get discouraged when you cant find others who will speak on spiritual matters? Dont be. The Savior clearly warned us that the way to Salvation was narrow and there are few that find it. So, if there are few that find it, there are only a few who will truly desire to discuss spiritual matters. The Scriptures teach, Out of the mouth comes the abundance of the heart. If those around you have an abundance of Christ in their hearts...their conversation will begin to prove it. Even if their words are few. Unfortunately, for many, their hearts are filled with an such an abundance of self or personal desires/ambitions or even their loved ones...that there is very little room for Christ. If Christ cant find a place amongst such idols of the heart, He will be vacant from the tongue. One of the signs of a truly renewed mind will be manifested in ones conversation. If a child only desires candy, the child will vocalize their obsession for the candy with their cries and will annoy others by their desire. If true for such a child, how much more is this true for the authentic child of God and their childlike faith? How much more will they annoy the nominal believer or unbeliever with their passionate desire to speak about the sweetness of their Savior? To those not in Christ, such conversation sours the ears, mind and belly to a point that they become ill with annoyance, anger or frustration.The nominal Christian cannot digest the things of God. So, such people abstain from conversations about things above. Consider this, if even the dumbest dog loves the sound of a caring masters voice, how much more should the true Believer desire to hear the like hearted speak about their Masters teachings? You see my Brothers and Sisters, your problem isnt finding those who are like minded. Even those on the wide path that leads to their destruction believe in their minds that they walk the narrow Way. No, your problem is finding the like hearted. It is those like hearted Saints whose hearts are filled with an abundance of Christ who will desire your Godly conversation.
