Dear Beloved Facebook, Have you ever been haunted by something from the past...well I have. My mother was killed in cold blood by this guy when I was a kid. I found out the guys name who killed my mother a few weeks ago. In my family if you want to know something from your elders you need to keep em hostage. Take them for a long ride somewhere.That way you can talk to them privately without any interruptions. A few weeks ago I gave my Aunt Isabelle a ride out to the rez we were talking about my mothers death and I told her I use to want to track this guy down and shoot him dead for killing my mother. I never knew who he was and then after many, many years later I finally lost the urge to track him down. And then my Aunt said, Oh you mean Jerry, that guy is dead he died awhile back not long after what happened to your mother, then she said, I always hated that guy. That was the end of the conversation. His name was Jerry from St. Michaels AZ. Jerry died before I got to shoot him or cuss him out or kick his but. For years I kept wondering who the guy was where he lived and no one in my family would tell me. And as many times as I went thru St. Michaels and ran around drunk in Gallup NM I never crossed paths with Jerry. Im glad to be sober and Im thankful for unanswered prayers. The Creator knows whats best for us even if we dont know it ourselves. He is always watching over us. God Bless You Jerry. ~N.R.
