Dear Blessed One, We need Christ to work in us to become the mighty men and women He wants us to be. So how do we do that? By being in Gods presence, craving and deepening our relationship with Him, pressing into Jesus, rekindling our desire for the Word, keeping our lives pure, and giving ourselves to prayer and intercession.This is a simple one. If you are not in His presence, you wont receive the refreshing that you need. God is giving this infusion only to those who crave it. Its not going to happen to you because its happening to me. The Bible tells us: Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence [continually] evermore.Ps. 105:4. Getting close to God is easy. In fact, its easier to get closer to God than some people youd like to be close to. You can be close to God anytime you want. Hes not too busy for you. There is no line at the throne room. You dont have to wait for a million people to get out of the way before He has time for you.Renew your quest to know God intimately by making a commitment to deepen your relationship with the Holy Spirit. There is a new awareness of needing to become closer to God. I believe that the closer we get to the Second Coming, then the closer to God you and I must get. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh unto you James 4:8.I like how the Amplified version states it: Get close to God and He will come close to you. If you take a step toward God, Hell take a step toward you. What do I mean by press in? Let me give you an example. Do you remember the biblical story about the woman with the issue of blood? For years she suffered with the disease. When she found out Jesus was going to be in town, she did whatever she needed to do to get near Him. She fought crowds of people to just touch Him. She was convinced that just one touch of His garment would heal her. So she pressed in. She knew that the presence of God was available. How desperate are you to touch Jesus today? If the Bible is no longer exciting for you, then you need to rekindle your desire for it. If you dont feel that way right now, just ask the Lord to give you a fresh desire to read His Word and understand it in a whole new way. What does keeping pure mean? Simply that weve got to clean up our lives. In Joel 2:11-14, I dont want an outward appearance of holiness; I want an inward holiness. I dont want an outward appearance of servitude; I want it coming from your heart. I dont want it just looking as though youre serving Me; I want you truly and fully serving Me. It means stop playing church. Stop the religious games. Dont be satisfied with the norm anymore. Rend (tear) your hearts. Clean your life up. Demand of yourself that sin has got to go; strife has got to go; bitterness has got to go; jealousy has got to go. We dont have time to play around with those things anymore. They are luxuries of the flesh, and God wants us to take authority over them. He wants us to take authority over our minds and become holy and mighty men and women who are fit to serve in His army. A mighty man or woman is a person who is strong in prayer. His or her attitude is to pray first before doing anything else. A lot of people use prayer as a last resort. When any problem comes up, those folks try this and that, and it is only after this and that doesnt work that they decide to pray. Mighty men and women know to pray first. They are strong in prayer and strong in faith. Its time to wake up! You need to realize that were already on the winning team and what God needs is for all of us to prepare for war. If you listen closely, youre going to hear, in the Spirit, His trumpet. Youre going to hear the battle cry.Prepare yourself. Turn to God with all your heart. Get ready for battle! Prepare for your greatest warfare. Prepare also for your greatest victories. Youre called to battle, but destined to win. “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Hab. 3:18. Precious Child of God, Many times we think of rejoicing when good things happen in our lives, maybe you pass an examination, you get promoted, you build or buy a house or other tangible things then we burst out in praise to God. But stop and think for a moment, what about the things that did not happen? Have you thought about thanking God for the things that did not happen? Think of the travels you made in the year and nothing happened to you, meanwhile some people took a first trip and today they are no more. Have you thought about the headache you considered mild and ignored that killed other people? Have you thought about the fires in the neighbourhood that God protected you from. What about the accident you were involved in but somehow God spared your life? Beloved, today, take time to think back and thank this God; He is faithful and deserves to be praised. Habakkuk reviewed many things that had the capacity to depress him, he looked at the fig tree not blossoming, he talked of fruits not being in the vine, he even said even if the labour of the olive shall fail and fields yield no meat, but in spite of this all, he said YET I will rejoice in the Lord. Precious One,what could be worse? I am sure that you have not had it that bad; beloved, if you can think, then you can thank. A thinking person is a grateful person. Today, I challenge you to drop every load and come before His presence with thanksgiving in your heart. The fact that you are still alive is enough to thank God, for a living dog is better than a dead lion. Beloved, Guess what? When you rejoice, you will see God as your strength and He will make your feet like hind’s feet and He will make you to walk on your high places. Delay is not denial. Whatever the devil thinks he has stolen will be restored seven fold. As you praise God today, Get ready restoration is coming your way.Light will shine on your path again, wisdom will fall for next decision and that close door shall be open as you celebrate him with all your heart. Nothing changes with God if only we can praise him above the challenges in Jesus Name. Tonight is Our Prophetic, Miracle and Deliverance Service. Pray for the Power to stand for the Glory of God. Pray for the desire for God and God alone.Pray for the Grace to see God on your side in times of challenges. Pray for a Prophetic fulfilment in your life. Pray for fresh oil over your life. Pray for fresh ideas and dreams for 2015. Pray for our Nation that God would deliver us from the hand of the Wicked. Joy is the Key to open the Promises in our life. Praying in the Spirit opens the realms for your manifestations. When God step in your case, victories become your portion and lifestyle!
