Dear Brave Souls: Help Dr. E solve a mystery. Long ago, someone unknown to me, likely an artist and person experienced in web images and design, took my name that was floating around without being claimed as a web domain name: clarissapinkolaestes The person paid for my name and renewed it annually for many years and I their name was purposely hidden behind a privacy wall, so I could not ask to please have my domain name back. The person treated my namesake domain pages [2 of them, the person created] very respectfully by putting up an image of La Señora, along with a flash candle that actually flickered, surrounding Her with a little winged ofrenda/ shrine with doors, and saying that this page is in honor of gifts given. Time went on. Years went by. So many people asked me why I didnt have a website, that I should, must, etc.. And finally I saw online I was being taken to task by someone for not having a website and so... I responded on that forum as gently as possible about why I had no website, was because I had no access to my own domain name. People,. then understanding, were gracious and wished me good luck in maybe someday getting my domain name back. And I thought that was that. But since I had a --forget what its called, but it means to be notified if a certain domain name comes up to be bought-- I suddenly received notification that the person behind the privacy wall who had had my domain name, had suddenly relinquished it in the middle of its run without having all the months it was paid for fulfilled. I did buy my domain name back. But/and, in gratitude, I feel a debt of honor all these years. And wrote about this some years ago, hoping the person would step forward, but they have not. So, I have found pieces and parts of the webpage the person designed when it was in my name, and I thought to post them here for you... perhaps you will recognize the artistic style... and I keep thinking the person may be a Latina, but not sure, but some of the symbols are dear to us in curanderismo for instance the yellow flower, and of course the velas and Nuestra Señora absolutely. So here are the puzzle pieces for you to look at and see if you have any thought or intuition or psychic flashes, please do share them with me. For this reason too... I loved the images that the person had put together. And on my new website, there will be a prayer request page, and it would be wonderful to be able to ask the person permission and perhaps collaboration to re-create what she/he had created when they had a webpage using my domain name. Barbara Flores is the artist who designed the fabulous color-rich Women Who Run with the Wolves huge poster--- and I wondered if it might be her. But, since Ten Speed Press was eaten up by the behemoth Penguin Random House, Ive no idea how to even find the editor who oversaw the poster, as PRH only bought the smaller publisher to put them out of business, as they were apparently too much competition for PRH. [This is also why the wonderful huge posters of varieties of ancient corn and plants and chiles on black backgrounds are out of print. They were originally Ten Speed and Celestial originals]. But it may be anyone... mysterious man or mysterious woman, who surely I thank in advance for knowing Holy Mother and for putting her together with me, in all regard. Thought the old web pages are gone now, I can tell they were placed, you could tell, with deepest respect. So, let me know your thoughts... and perhaps together we can find the mystery person... and perhaps put together a wonderful ofrenda/ altar/shrine with La Conquista in the midst of it to comfort people who come to the new praying chamber were building to make their requests for their lives, and for others lives, in calm and in private.
