Dear Breiel Family, There are many reasons in life that we find ourselves tired. We can get discouraged and start to lose heart. Many times being depleted comes from trials and burdens that we did not ask for. Sometimes we make poor choices and pay for them. Do you feel exhausted today? Are you anxious? Are you angry over circumstances? We must turn to the Lord when we are at the end of our rope and ask for grace. Ask Jesus to get into your boat and calm the winds and the waves-He will. However, there is a better option, although it requires faith and courage. It’s time for you to get out of the boat and walk on water. The wind and the waves hold no power over you. Do not let your present circumstances determine your joy level. Ask God to help your attitude rise above. Jesus set this example as He made His way to the cross for our salvation. He did not let suffering or shame take away His eternal joy. Fix your eyes upon Him today. Hebrews 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
