Dear Brother and Sisters in the Lord. Our celebration of the Lords birth is coming soon. Also coming soon are the endless posts of 1. It really isnt his birth day 2. It started as a pagan holiday 3. Jesus is the reason fort he season 4. companies tell employees not to say Merry Christmas 5. ACLU says take down that Tree 6. Kids cant sing Christmas Carols in school, etc. Yickes Dont get all in a tither. 1. I read the entire book and Jesus wins. 2. Even when they killed him the first time he rose. 3. Our snippy little x-mas remarks do nothing to further his kingdom. 4. We act as if it is our fight and if we dont rally against the machine that all is lost. Keep in mind who is in charge here. Our Lord has been doing pretty well for the last 2000 or so years. If you want, say Merry Christmas to people. If they shoot back with Happy Holidays you dont have to say anything but a silent prayer for them and move along. Plus the people behind you in the check out line are stressed enough already. In conclusion - keep it simple - be thankful for his birth - have a song in your heart and pray for those that despite fully use you. luv ya, Ray...
