Dear Brothers/Sisters of our community, Assalamualaikum Wa-Rahmatullah By this update, we wish to express our appreciation and thanks for your support for our Masjid, particularly to its expansion project. May Allah reward you plentiful and bless you and your family for helping in His cause. We wanted to update you about our progress in this project. Since there were code complications and high costs involved in expanding the existing Masjid building, we decided to expand it to the next door building that consists of street-to-street building on the first floor and second floor apartment. About 32750 US dollars (20 Lacs of Rupees) have been spent over the project till now and approximately 10,00,000 US dollars (6-7 Crore Indian Rupees) are required to complete this expansion project of this Masjid. Because Masjid is ancient about 112 years old (Estd. in 1902 or 1321Hijri) covers about 6,000 square feet of area, Masjid also includes a Madarsa Sautul Uloom Mandi Dhanaura in which regular Hifz classes are conducted for kids two times in a day with strength of 200 Hifz students. Masjid Committee has decided to rebuild Masjid thoroughly, Let me explain you, on the ground floor Madarsa will be settled where Hifz classes program will be provided for our community Children for 500 Students and 1st Floor will be reserved for Salah. Masjid will be equipped with two Minarets having 150 feet of Height. Where one Minaret building Estimated cost is 2,50,000 US Dollars (1.5 Crore Rupees). Five times prayers (Salah) are continue and construction work is in dynamic process. Under this project, we face lifted the front and back of the existing Masjid and renovated/ remodeled the whole Masjid building and Madarsa building. Installation of 2 units of heating/cooling system is also underway. We pray and hope that, insha-Allah, this project will be completed within 3.5 years. Then we are planning to build some more facility space on the second floor. In case you have not paid your promised donation, or wish to make further contributions, please do so as soon as you can.
