Dear CCSL Community, After Sunday Service tomorrow, Sylvia and I will be driving out to Siksika Nation east of Calgary that has been hit very hard by the flooding. We have almost a truck full of much needed goods to deliver to the families that have been evacuated now living in a sports arena on the reserve on dryer ground. If necessary, we will make multiple trips. Close to 1,000 people have been evacuated from their homes that are now immersed in the flood waters. Some of you may know that Sylvia taught at the high-school on Siksika Nation for 6 years and still has close ties with many in that community. If anyone has any of these goods they can part with and bring tomorrow to the Centre, I will put them in my Truck and we will add them to our load being delivered: • Blankets • Sleeping bags • Bedding Thanks kindly.
