Dear Campers, due to last year’s success, we were highly motivated to make the camp in 2014 even better than the last one. However, this year, we don’t get the chance to achieve it. The youth hostel has added extra 50€ per person and at the same time, the gym rent is tripled in comparison with last year. This would lead to an increase of 100€ per person. We don’t want to and can’t expect that from you. After several conversations, both instances are not willing to lower their prices to a level that we think is fair and finding a new location has been very difficult, as the location of the gyms, the youth hostel and the outdoor swimming pool are practically unique in Germany. This is why we had to decide that there won’t be a Wilson Camp in Germany in 2014. We haven’t given up hope yet and will keep on searching for an adequate location for a camp in 2015. If somebody knows a good location, please let us know. Whoever gives us the good tip can take part in next year’s camp for free. Though the Heidelberg Camp has to be canceled, this doesn’t mean that there’s no Wilson Camp. Our camp in Switzerland is going to take place for the 31st time this year.
