Dear Canadian Armenian Community Finally, more than 6 months after Bishop Bagrat’s departure, the names of the leaders of the group responsible in this dirty campaign are now out in the open. As a strong community, we are not scared, we are not intimidated by any one of them, that’s the reason we published both letters, we have and we will always stand by our church and bring out the truth. We welcome your feedback at any time God bless you all FINALLY THE TRUTH IS OUT: HERE ARE THE NAMES OF ALL those WORKING AGAINST The BUILDING of OUR CHURCH. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING: November 16, 2013 TO THE ARMENIAN COMMUNITY, Following the spreading of many inconsistent and misleading rumors in the community, we the undersigned feel and request that the realities of the financial catastrophe facing our community be uncovered by submitting the entire group of the Diocese and the churches to an independent professional audit. Since no initiative was being taken in that respect we, ourselves, undertook a thorough investigation of the data available. The attached is the result of that thorough work which we feel is our duty to share with you. These findings have been presented on November 9, 2013, at the Kingston mid-year general Diocesan assembly, where the reality of our findings were shared and heard and acquiesced by all, Diocesan Council and Delegates, without a single objection. The figures in the presentation where names of individuals had to be identified, the latter have been removed for reasons of privacy. However, they are all available and can be given privately to any person who enquires about it. We consider it to be the right of our community to be informed and, thus, we dutifully present it as such. ACCUMULATED AND CURRENT APPROXIMATE DEBTS NOTE 2: Donor who does not wish to be identified is a prominent Church member for many years. Donor was persuaded by the Primate to make a donation for the purpose of acquiring a vineyard in Armenia that would yield profits which would be used for the Laval church project. No records of such an acquisition exists today. OBSERVATIONS The preceding compilation of data shows in an unquestionable way that the Financial image of the churchs current situation is one of very serious catastrophe. The responsibilities for such a situation should normally have to be determined and must have been shared by more than one individual. However, we would simply like to point out that there are several documented cases which we do not want to discuss at this time other than simply to say that, they reflect the largely unplanned, unwise financial mismanagement of the Primate of the time which has resulted in the current unfortunate situation. In addition, we also want to state the fact that he was extremely difficult to work with because of his intimidating style of approach to get what he wants. His showing often lack of normally expected consideration towards Delegates, Parish Council members and not to mention the Der Hayrs has deteriorated relationships and created unnecessary friction within the community as well as amongst friends. Our only wish is to find a remedy to this current unfortunate situation and to implement measures and controls such that other similar incidents can not be repeated once again. We can not and will not tolerate MANAGEMENT-BY-THE-SEAT-OF-YOUR-PANTS type of leadership by anyone anywhere. It is time for serious reflection and reform to keep our community united! NON FINANCIAL ISSUES
