About SAUDI ARAMCO: Saudi Aramcos Refining, Marketing & International (RM&I) business line is responsible for the Companys downstream operations: refining, distribution and marketing. RM&I oversees the operations of the Companys wholly owned refineries and NGL (natural gas liquids) fractionation plants. The business line is also responsible for the Companys large integrated distribution system that encompasses pipelines, bulk plants and marine terminals. Saudi Aramcos wholly-owned shipping subsidiary, Vela International Marine Limited, operates one of the worlds largest fleets of supertankers. RM&I coordinates the Companys crude oil and refined products sales and marketing activities, in the Kingdom and in the Far East, Europe and the United States. RM&I also directs the Companys domestic and international joint and equity ventures in refining and marketing. Recently, the Company has moved further downstream by integrating petrochemical production with its Rabigh refinery in a project with an international partner and by entering into a similar venture in China. Additional integrated refining and petrochemical ventures are under study. Position:- Senior Inspector Engineer Min Requirement: A. EDUCATION: B.S. in Engineering. B. EXPERIENCE: Five years of professional experience, preferably in the oil or similar process industry, including at least two (2) years as Saudi Aramco Inspector Engineering or four (4) years of direct inspection experience. -OR- A. Completion of ITC: English, ERW; Math, MT; Science, ST. Or Apprenticeship Or VCG program Or Associate Degree. B. Experience required: Thirteen (13) years minimum. Must have 2 years experience as Saudi Aramco Inspector Engineering or 13 years industrial experience including 10 years inspection experience in the assigned discipline. C. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: A thorough knowledge of English is required to perform work as described and make clear and concise verbal and written reports and keep up with technical advancements. Arabic not required, but desirable for expatriate incumbents in this position. Must read, write and speak English fluently. D. Must have a valid Saudi drivers license. E. Must have good vision (20/20 normal or corrected) and be in good physical condition. F. Must be willing to work at high elevations and in confined spaces. G. Must be willing to work in assigned areas. H. Must be computer literate with competence in Microsoft Office products (i.e. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and knowledge of other SA systems utilized within the specific discipline and required by the individual Dept. I. Must meet one of the inspection discipline specific requirements given below. OTHER: Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, US Codes Standards and Specifications. I.CIVIL/PLUMBING/HVAC: Must be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the applicable Saudi Aramco Standards, Uniform Building code and Uniform. Plumbing Code. Preferred to have Quality Management System registered/ certified auditor (IRCA/RABQSA) or ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor Course or equivalent. Must complete following: Liquid Penetrant Testing Level I Course Magnetic Particle Testing Level I Course SA Coating Inspector Certification - Level 1 Any two of 1: ACI Inspector Certification or equivalent 2: IBC, Commercial Building Inspector (B2) or equivalent 3: IBC, Commercial Plumbing Inspector (P2) or equivalent 4: API 936 II.ELECTRICAL/INSTRUMENTATION: Must be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the applicable Saudi Aramco Standards. Must be able to demonstrate through ID Certification program or equivalent a thorough working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70). National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) certification test conducted by and certification issued by Inspection Dept. or any recognized certifying entity. Must have experience in analog, digital, and pneumatic instruments. Must be certified NICET Level II in Industrial Instrumentation and Fire Alarm Systems or equivalent. Must have NCPCCI certification in Electrical General, or equivalent. Preferred to have Quality Management System registered/certified auditor (IRCA/RABQSA) or ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor Course or equivalent. Must complete SA Coating Inspector Level 1 Course Must obtain IAEI-CEI Master Certification or Equivalent III.PLANT AND EQUIPMENT/WELDING/COATING: Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of codes such as ASME Section I, V, VIII and IX, ASME B31.3, and/or applicable Saudi Aramco Standards. Preferred to have Quality Management System registered/certified auditor (IRCA/RABQSA) or ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor Course or equivalent. Must obtain following certifications: Liquid Penetrant Testing Level II JD: Performs applicable duties required of an Sr. Inspector Engineering within the assigned inspection discipline and certification limitations. B. Trains personnel to develop technical ability and understanding of applicable codes, standards, inspection methods in various disciplines and NDT methods. Trains personnel in the proper use of new or existing inspection equipment tools, techniques, methods and standards and acts as mentor. C. Performs inspections of an advanced, more complex nature in addition to providing day-to-day work direction, as required, for the inspection of new, existing, or vendors facilities assuring that materials are correct for the intended service and work performed conforms to engineering specifications and/or Saudi Aramco standards.
