Dear Candidate, Saba , Pune looking for Application Support Engineers Sabas Cloud Service Operations team provides proactive high-touch customer support, and handles all customer-facing activities related to Cloud Operations. The Operations Tech Engineer will install, configure, and maintain systems for Sabas Hosted and Cloud customers. The successful candidate is a Unix platform expert and will be both technically skilled and customer-focused. This position is based in Pune, India, and reports to the Manager of Cloud Service Engineering. The Operations Tech Engineer will work closely with the Cloud Service Engineering team to perform tasks related to configuring and updating customer environments. The Operations Tech Engineer is also expected to develop and implement innovative ways to improve operations and enhance customer self-service capabilities. Job Role * Provide technical leadership to the team * Managing ticket queue by assigning the tickets to appropriate team member depending on the skillset * Develops, designs, implements and supports new services to support Sabas technical function in line with business requirements * Dealing with all types of UNIX related incidents to ensure that Service Level Agreements with customers are adhered to * Write shell scripts to automate support setup, configuration and operational tasks * Monitoring alters generated by the monitoring systems and take prompt action on them wherever required * Communicating and interfacing with other functional areas * Administer (install, configure, and maintain) application servers on CentOS and Windows platforms (both physical and virtual) * Deploy and troubleshoot applications in the cluster environments * Build and maintain working relationships with key service provision Skills: * Unix, CentOS, Solaris, HP-UX , AIX, Linux, Redhat Enterprise Linux & Suse * In depth knowledge of multiple UNIX flavors * App Servers * Perl/Shell scripting * Patching procedures. * Installing OS on new servers. * Unix Mail, (Postfix, Sendmail) General Business Skills: * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Very strong problem solving and decision making skills * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Ability to work efficiently and independently * Ability to work under pressure and time constraints * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Initiative and sense of ownership Interested candidates can reply to this mail with their latest resumes Regards, Shobhit Bhatia Talent Acquisition - Saba
