Dear Champlin Residents, I would like to start out by saying - TopicsExpress

Dear Champlin Residents, I would like to start out by saying THANK YOU to all of my supporters that voted for me and helped me in every step of the way. I was unsuccessful in my bid to become Mayor of Champlin, but I’m still here and will remain actively involved in issues that face our city. I have a love and passion for my hometown that isn’t turned on or off by the outcome of my race. Today I’m unsure of my future endeavors within Champlin but I’m young and resilient and I will work hard and determined for whatever the future holds. I hold my head up high after this election although it wasn’t the outcome we expected or hoped for. I believe everything happens for a reason and it wasn’t my time. I am going to enjoy spending time with Halley and the kids that I’ve missed out on the last few months. There is no doubt running for Mayor is a lot of work, but I enjoyed every step of the way! I love getting out in the neighborhoods to door knock people’s homes and have wonderful conversations. I know and believe that if one day I’m meant to become Mayor of Champlin it’ll happen but as of now I will support our current leadership going forward. Let me take this moment to congratulate my opponent ArMand Nelson. I am an honest man and did nothing but tell the honest truth in my campaign. I ran a clean and ethical campaign that focused on me and the issues facing Champlin. Not everyone agrees with everything you’re going to say, but always know that I’m sincere in my meetings and my literature. I have always chosen to put Champlin first. I want to specially thank my family for sticking by me and helping through the long weeks of being gone late into the night and allowing me to be out campaigning every weekend since Labor Day. I ran for the right reasons and hopefully soon I’ll see everyone around. Have a wonderful and safe holiday season ahead. Respectfully, Ryan Sabas
