Dear Change Maker, Ebola has taken a heavy toll in West Africa due to a lack of knowledge and as a result it has spread rapidly. I am Edwina Taylor, a Liberian, a West African and the Director of Card Europe, a grassroots charity based in Oslo. At CARD Europe, we believe that sustainable development is rooted in the empowerment of people through dignified, secure, active and healthy lives. Our globalized worlds peace and security is currently at stake due to continuous deterioration of social indicators for vulnerable and poor populations. Since August 2014 Card Europe has been campaigning in various major cities in Europe and in Monrovia (Liberia) to spread awareness and solicit funds to help those in vulnerable areas in Liberia.
