Dear Charlottesville Facebook Friends & Family ... LETS STOP THE VIOLENCE I hope you can recall me asking for support to stop the violence especially black on black crime. A couple of months ago two black men died, and in some cases, gang members retaliate and killed each other. Last week a white police officer killed a black male and made national news. The black community became infuriated because the police officer happens to be white. I am infuriated because black on black crime is an illness in the community and I see no one is taking a stand. Last year in 2013 over thirteen major cities 22,000 black on black murders crime occurred. Bottom-Line IT WAS A LIFE TAKEN SENSELESSLY DO YOU HONESTLY WANT TO MAKE A CHANGE IN YOUR COMMUNITY? Candle light and Peace gathering I totally respect. However, we need to be proactive and unite in the community and demand a change especially for our children. PLEASE CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO!
