(alto) asks our prayers to overcome a serious health challenge: To my dear choir family, I really miss you and the times we sing together. The last month of tests at Froedtert Hospital uncovered a very, very rare malignant paraganglioma stage four. I have been fortunate to have one of the four doctors in the USA that knows any thing about this disease here at Froedtert. I have been undergoing radiation and chemo therapy every day. ... Last week they found fluid built in my back about a liter that also contained maglmaglniantiant cells. While the medical profession knows about a lot of things they still cant figure out what exactly is the origin of these cells. Life is a mystery. ... As you know I have asked for prayers for my Mom who is still in hospice. Now Im asking prayers for me. I know that the Creator of all has control over the universe and over me and my health. I still believe in miracles. This is my ultimate faith walk. Ive entrusted my life and will in the hands of the Almighty. Each day is gift and tomorrow is promised to no one. Last week I also found out that my middle sister has stomach cancer. Pray and sing Gods praises. In the meantime, this is my time to heal and recover to join you real soon. Love and Peace, Irena * Judy (alto, assistant director) wrote: 1. Rehearsals begin Monday Sept. 8th at Hephatha church/ basement at 5:45 promptly with prayer and ends at 7:45. If you have to arrive late, please “sneak in” so you don’t disturb the rehearsal. 2. Performance schedules will be distributed on Monday. Next one is Sun. Sept. 21st in Sheboygan. Sign ups for carpools will be done at rehearsal. 3. Recording dates will be discussed and announced Monday. So far these songs for the CD are confirmed: All my trials, Lamb of God, Give us a clean heart, Send us a revival and Yes. More to be discussed and decided as we go. 4. Attendance at rehearsals is very necessary as we polish the CD songs. Attendance will be taken, so please contact your section phone captains if unable to attend rehearsals. Jan S.--sopranos: (see her 2 numbers in email), Jane--altos: (phone # in email), Joy--tenors: (phone # in email), and Matt--Basses: (phone # in email). 5. In the past, we have had robes and stoles given out to members who then no longer remained in the choir. If you are choosing not to return to the choir for various reasons, please return your robe and stole. Life can get very busy and sometimes this commitment just doesn’t work for you anymore. NO GUILTS, just let the directors or phone captains know this so your name is removed from the roster. Looking forward to having our choir family all reunited this Monday! Thanks, Judy
