Dear Citizens of Toronto. When you witness a person trip and fall in the middle of the street, kindly approach the person to see if they are okay or need assistance. Today, while I was walking across the street I unfortunately tripped and fell forward on the pavement. The impact nearly made me pass out as my knee and hands took most of the fall. Purse, car keys went flying....not a pretty sight. What happened next kinda surprised me, and not in a good way. There was a man walking near me and he witnessed the whole thing. He did not stop to see if I was okay but stood on the street staring and glaring at me. A car was approaching and stopped 20 feet in front of me. Neither person in the car got out to ask if I needed assistance. I struggled to get myself off the street. The people in the car only merely drove by slowly staring at me. I was somewhat incredulous at the actions of these people. My hands and knees were bleeding and I limped to the side of the road. WTF is happening in this world when you cant even stop to ask a person if they are okay...
