Dear City of Mandurah, No one is dodging the new paid parking, trust me $2 is well worth the $50 of petrol youd probably waste attempting to find a carpark within a 10km radius. The problem is and always has been lack of parking especially since the vacant lot of land adjacent the train station, where lucky commuters who decided to arrive at 6am and not 5am could park has started construction on a block of units you decided just needed to be there. That is why people are beginning to park on the residential streets so if you could stop saying that its because we are all cheap skates that would be swell. It would be even better if you actually addressed the lack of parking available too, brownie points if you add an inconvenient roundabout to it. Yours Sincerely, Someone that actually lives here. P.S Dont tell me to walk or catch a bus, something about walking home in darkness when I finish late freaks me out.
