The plan is to add the digit (1) at the beginning of each of the six existing geographical area codes in Saudi Arabia, a) The Riyadh area: - Nationally: from (01) to (011) - From out of the KSA: +966(11) b) Makkah Al-Mukarramah (includes Jeddah): - Nationally: from (02) to (012) - From out of the KSA: +966(12) c) Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah: - Nationally: from (04) to (014) - From out of the KSA: +966(14) d) The Eastern Region (includes Dammam and Al-Khobar): - Nationally: from (03) to (013) - From out of the KSA: +966(13) e) Qassim: - Nationally: from (06) to (016) - From out of the KSA: +966(16) f) The Southern Region: - Nationally: from (07) to (017) - From out of the KSA: +966(17) It is advisable hence not to print large quantities of stationary items, business cards, letterheads, and envelops for use in the KSA for the time being as a result of above.
