Dear Community Members, With grief and heartfelt condolence I am regret to sharing you that our community member Mr. Hemant Ghimire, died on July 13, 2013. Mr. Hemant, residence of Dhangadi-1, Kailali District, Nepal, came in the US as a student in 2011, was found dead in his room on July 13, 2013. Initially he went to a school in Oklahoma and later moved to Baltimore. Mr. Hemant was one of the outstanding achievers in education throughout his career. As a result he came to the US to pursue his education further. Mr. Hemant comes from an economically poor family and it was learnt that he was working extra hours to support his parents back in Nepal. His father is a longtime patient of heart disease and mother with chronic mental disease. He was the sole supporter to his parents. We are deeply saddened by untimely demise of Mr. Hemant at the age of 27 years. For the last few months he was undergoing the treatment for mental disease. His death was a surprise to everyone who knew him. Currently his dead body is kept at MacNabb Funeral Home, Catonsville, MD, waiting for final rites. Efforts are underway to bring his father to perform the funerals.
