Dear Congressman Hughes, As my representative I am asking for a written reply from you explaining to me how it has come to be that in my location in East Texas that I must pay for something I do not want and then pay a service fee monthly to keep from have something I dont want. The American way for 230 plus years it has been my right to not buy something I did not want. Please explain when and how this was changed. Also please explain how it is that 3 commissioners are allowed, by our elected representatives, to issue rules that have the effect of law? This amounts to taxation without representation. I am speaking of the smart electric meter as you know. Citizens of the state in other locations are not required to pay for this non-service. How is it constitutional for the state to allow these commissioners to charge some citizens and not all citizens? I expect you as my representative to start work immediately to make sure this unfair situation is corrected. Again I want your explanation in writing to John Tweedell, 1606 Pineview Lane, Hideaway, TX 75771 or to tweedell@gmail. I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon. Thank you. John Tweedell 1606 Pineview Lane Hideaway, TX 75771 tweedell@gmail 903-882-3043
