Dear Conqueror “If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.” [1 Cor 13:1]. Love is God’s free and generous gift. Love has no boundaries and it never ends. God gives us love without ever considering whether it is wise to give so much or if we deserve it. As we open ourselves to receive divine love we must also overflow freely and generously in our relations with other people. (Mark 12: 30-31) “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength, the second is this; you shall love your neighbour as yourself.” There is no other commandment greater than these” As a conqueror this is a non-negotiable spiritual obligation to fulfil, you are commanded to show practical affection towards your neighbours otherwise “all our righteous acts are like filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6) - forget it! (1 John 4:20-21) says; “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” Conqueror, our love for God must positively impact on our neighbours because “Three things will last forever - faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is love” (1 Cor 13:13). So “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matt 5:16). Say a prayer today.
