Dear Content Pros, I have a pricing question. Client sent this query: We need a writer for our new website, for all the content on various pages and the new webstore, including product info. The website content for the most part will involve refreshing original copy, with a few new sections. For product copy we have approx. 70 entries. Also: Deadline is fast, 10-day turnaround. How would you bid this project? I worry about per-hour as writing can involve a lot of what we astute professionals know as dicking around time, and I want to be as fair as possible. I worry about flat rate because 70 entries is . . . a lot of entries . . . and I dont want to underbid my time. These are products that I would have to learn about to write for each.
