Dear Councilmember Tovo, Congratulations on the apparent win by default. This letter is meant to express my opinion, and current political position, referencing the attached article. I oppose the Mike Martinez plaque proposal and the I oppose Mike Martinez proposing the plaque type of politics and political posturing. I oppose both Mike Martinez and Democrat Steve Adler for mayor. and will most likely not vote for either man -under the concept and practice of dont vote it only encourages them. If Adler is a Democrat, does that make Martinez a CME* or a routine Communist? I support removing the statue of Stevie Ray Vaugh from the shore of Lady Berg Lake. In the context of REM and referencing the Moody Blues music group, the band ZZTop et al., I make a suggestion to remove the Stevie Ray Vaugh statue from the shores of the formerly non-politically partisan charged and politicized moniker - also and formerly known as Town Lake. Has anyone cross referenced the names on the Rosemary Lehmberg Amicus Brief to the supporters of Martinez and Adler? I also support removing or wrapping the statue of Wally Nielson in white satin or whiten linen, as per a cowboy song, until he passes. I do not support commemorating - like the Iraqis painted the face of Sadam Hussein on the sides of buildings in acts of state sponsored graffiti as opposed to state allowed graffiti - to assert their religious form of government sanctification of bully punk thugism [in the above Hussein example]- [in the case of Wally Nielson -a former drunk that became a good singer songwriter that smokes dope and stands for something rather than political endorsements] people still living in statuary and school names. This is my opinion today, and my opinions are subject to change with more and better vetted assertions and projections of fact and opinion.
