Dear DB friends and administrators. This is NOT about Dime directly, but I KNOW he would agree with this 333% and support the below...heres hoping you dont delete this as it directly IMPACTS us all. Lets all help those who protect us, brothers and sisters... Ive never done this sort of post before and will probably never do so again. That said, I feel that this one is far beyond necessary. I’m a Brit living in the USA and, since 9/11 (shame on me for not doing so before), whenever I see a man or lady in uniform - be they fire, police or armed forces - I always make sure to say two very simple but heartfelt words: “thank you.” Why? Simply put, because without them, we’d be nothing and our safety and freedom would be forever lost. These brave people risk their lives every single day for us, and yet expect nothing. I love this song and video (plus the solo kicks, Dime approved ass!) and when I literally bumped into my dear friend, Jason Hook, at CES last week, he told me that this has, so far, raised over, $250,000 for the righteous cause it is all about…thats staggering but, IMHO, is NOT enough. I defy anyone who has a heart and soul not to watch this video and then do exactly what I did…cry like a baby (in thankfulness) and then contribute. If you do not agree with this sentiment, please do me a huge favour (correct spelling!) and “unfriend” me immediately because you’re no friend of mine…God Bless our troops and all who protect us. Amen.
