Dear,Dear Sisters-Out-Law, Ive been saddened over the past few days and when notified of Jackies passing my saddness was intensified. When one of us loses a Sista....or Brutha.... everyone in the community deals with the loss however they can. Id had a plan to go to Monticello casino and spend the change Jude and I have been saving over the last few years, anyway... (wed gone to the Casino, Atlantic City and Monticello at least twice in the past three years). Wed accumulated a fair amount of coin...so I said , Why not? That meant Ill be buying wrappers for the coins. Well, I was not near a store that sold them. I came home to do what I have been doing since last October, namely, continue sorting through our stuff. I came to a box that had what in abundance? Coin wrappers....more than I needed. There were envelopes that contained some of the earliest cards I had ever sent to Jude. They were all of the blank variety. All of the prose came from me. Why they were in the box that held coin wrappers?..... I wont try to answer that question. She gave me the gift of time as I didnt need to search any longer for wrappers... and the gift of being able to experience the thrill that first occurred as I originally wrote these. And then as if it couldnt get any better.... in an envelope still in the box were pictures of one of our favorite days... Ill share two. ....Best Love to Jackie and Jude....
