Dear Democrats, After Tuesdays totally unnecessary defeat I hope you all take the time to reflect and regroup. While you are doing so where are a few suggestions. 1. Debbie Wasserman Schultz needs to go. I LOVE HER dont get me wrong but having an active politician as DNC chair isnt a good idea. 2. PLEASE STOP RUNNING AWAY!! It never works. Why do you continue to do it. Obama was the only reason why most of you were relevant and running from him was a mistake. Mainly because it inexorably validates what the opponents say about him. 3. Stop being reactive to the GOP. Youve let them control the rhetoric for the entirety of Obamas presidency. Even while they were in the minority. Why? 4. Midterm elections from now on should be our push on social issues. All of our social issues are winning right now. Why arent you? 5. Bring back Howard Deans 50 state strategy and combine it with Obamas money machine. There was NO REASON why so much effort was wasted in TX with no other states to fall back on. 6. Stop trying to placate racists. You all ran from Obama and immigration to appease the ignorant. It didnt work now did it? Now imagine the WAVE of latinos and AAs who wouldve flooded the polls if you all didnt beg our President to back off of immigration. Yeah, you pissed off a lot of AAs by running from Obama by the way. Pray that you can get them back. 7. We need Lions in Congress again. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Alan Grayson are good places to start. Unleash our lions again. With so many leaving to join the Obama admin., there is now a vacuum. No more Emmanuel, Clinton, Kennedy (RIP), & Anthony Weiner; politicians who werent afraid to call bullshit, bullshit. 8. I want to hear so much about your accomplishments from now on that I get sick of them. Why hasnt there been a DNC commercial showing all that was accomplished before 2010 and how everything came to a halt when the GOP took over? They werent running on anything this cycle. They didnt have to run on anything. You all were too busy running (away from your accomplishments) FOR them. 9. Flood this current Congress with bills. Make the GOP vote their values. 10. Just stop being chickenshit about everything. The time is now to go on the offensive. These are my 10 suggestions. I may be off based but I would remiss as a Democrat if I didnt let you all know personally. The country is shifting left and there is NO REASON why this party cant be the flagship party of this country for years to come. Well, there is ONE reason. That reason being what happened Tuesday; your incessant need to shoot yourselves in the foot. Warm Regards,
