Dear Diary, I listen to two albums by a group called Wild Beasts today. I dont mind some of the music, but I cant get over the main singer. He puts forth too much vibrato and falsetto for my tastes and a lot of comes off overexaggerated (although I heard Guns N Roses over of Knockin On Heavens Door and Axl also exaggerates greatly, but its not falsetto and he displays greater vocal range), but the music itself isnt bad; its comparable to Don Caballero and Battles in its repeated riffy nature. I could see some of it on a party playlist but to listen actively becomes agitating. I practiced Cult of Personality on bass. Theres not much to it, but the longer riff needs more practice if Im to play it cleaner... and of course, I couldnt find a tab that was wholly correct and I altered the fretplay of what I did find mainly to avoid open strings. I listened to the following tune to compare and cleanse my pallet after the Wild Beasts. Ive had it playing in my brainbox most of the day, so I thought Id share it. Go To Bed, Diary, Ya Dingus.
