Dear EMS, I respect your job and what you do, in return I ask for the same. When I call for you its not because I love making more work for myself but because my patient has an emergency. Its hard enough going to your supervisor and then calling the Doctor because your gut is telling you its not just nausea and erratic blood pressure, something, but you dont know what, is seriously wrong. So just come and take my patient to the hospital with no smart ass remarks next time!! BTW, Im sure my patient who was transferred to another hospital within two hours because his organs were shutting down, thanks me!! First rule of medicine: never rule anything out just because the symptoms are not classic!!
